We recommend 6–8 sessions spaced four to eight weeks apart for upper lip hair. Individual needs vary with hair thickness, growth cycle, and skin type. Our technicians will customize spacing during consultation to optimize reduction and minimize regrowth.

Most clients experience mild discomfort described as snapping or warming; topical numbing is available for sensitive patients. Treatments are brief and increasingly tolerable across sessions as hair thins. We adjust settings to balance comfort and effectiveness.

Avoid sun exposure, tanning, and self-tanners for at least two weeks prior. Do not wax or pluck hairs; shaving is allowed. Arrive with the area clean and makeup-free. We'll review medical history and medications during your consultation.

Hair sheds gradually after the first session; meaningful reduction is typically noticed after two to three treatments. Optimal, long-term reduction develops over six to eight sessions as successive growth cycles are treated.

Common temporary effects include redness, mild swelling, and follicular irritation resolving within a few days. Rarely, blistering or pigmentation changes may occur—managed by cooling, topical care, and aftercare instructions. We perform a patch test if indicated.
